You can use regular lotions that is what i do I dont even see why they make tannign lotions because regular lotions act the same way !
Do you really need to use those expensive tanning lotions for tanning beds or can you use regular lotion??
I use the DOVE lotion w/ tint....it works great!

Reply:if you're going to use sunbeds than yes you definately need the best care protection you can get

Why do some people look orange when they tan in tanning beds? (It happens to me, lol)?
I'm trying to get a some natural sun every week and see how I do.

it all has to do with the natural pigment in your skin.
mines sort of a natural tan, so i sometimes get orange in tanning beds as well.
Reply:Usually the orange comes from the tanning oil or lotion that they sell at the tanning salon to "enhance" the tan. They have self tanners in them and on some people it looks orange.
Reply:Its probably because of too much exposure or just the bad coloring
Reply:everyone has different pigment in their skin. my friend looks like she a dirty face when she tans in the beds. lol
Reply:The bronzer (DHA) in the tanning lotion. Make sure to use a lotion without bronzer in it, like Swedish Beauty Chocolate Silk or CT Seven.
Reply:It must be the tanning lotion you use, or else your skin tone. I have never turned out orange, nor have any of my friends. Or perhaps it has something to do with the artificial rays. Every time I've tanned outdoors in San Diego, I've gotten a really nice rich brown tan. When I'm home (Central California), I get a more golden tan. In the tanning bed, I get a deep sort of tan, more brown than golden. Outdoor tanning obviously has something to do with relation to the equator, but as for indoors, it is simply based on your skin tone.
Reply:turning orange is a sign you could be getting cancer. get out of the bed and into the doctor.

What's the best tanning bed lotion with bronzer and just a little tingle?
I like a lotion with tingle, it seems to be what works for me. I just don't want a lot of it. Has anyone used a lotion called Half Baked? Is it any count?
What's the best tanning bed lotion with bronzer and just a little tingle?
As a pro tanner.. I've been tanning for years I will tell you the ALL TIME BEST lotion with bronzer and tingle is the Caribbean Gold- Wild Thing. You will thank me when you get out of the bed and see your color. It's amazing! It's comes out of the bottle a tanish color so you can see where you are putting it. It does have tingle in it which I prefer.
Reply:By far... (and I have tried them all) Hollywood Tans Chocolate Ice.
Reply:I LOVE Smoke - the black one. The red one has the "hotness" and some tingle to it. But the black Smoke is by far my alltime fave.

i have medium skin.
%26amp; don`t say i`m going to get skin cancer..cuz i`m not..
thanks =]
What is the best tanning oil?
Hawaiian Tropic. It truely is the best. It will make you tan quickly and it smells great. It smells like coconuts.
Get the brown bottle.
Reply:SPF 45
seriously, even if you tan easily, if you are not used to being that far south, you still could easily burn in the spring. I know, I tanned very dark and never burned until I went to Florida, then I got sun poisoning. Now I have tons of freckles. I know it's tempting to come back all bronze, but do you want to risk being red and peeling instead?
Reply:regular baby oil, they make it in a spray bottle now. If you want to be healthy about it, break open some vitamin E capsules and rub them over your body in addition to the baby oil.

Is it true that tanning beds helps acne?
YEAH ...... IT SURE DOES GET RID OF ACNE .......... IT ALSO GETS RID OF RASHES TOO EVEN IF SOMEBODY HAS BAD SKIN PROBLEMS SOME DOCS REGIMEN THEM TO GO TO THE TANNING BED
Is it true that tanning beds helps acne?
Tanning beds dry out your skin so they may dry out your acne as well.
Reply:yes its true
Reply:definitely! Tanning is bad for your skin but for some reason, it does clear up acne! I tan more in the summer than the winter and it's amazing how a tanning bed (and real sun) can clear up those ugly zits from the winter :)
Reply:Tanning beds are not good for your skin at all because you have direct rays on your body which drys your skin out. Depending on your skin type it can help your acne or worsen it. It does dry out your acne but it isn't drying it out in a healthy way your better off just getting some regular acne medication and going to see a dermatologist. Ask your dermatologist this same question and he will tell you the same thing. I know because my aunt is a professional dermatologist and she helps me because I am a full time model and I really have to keep my skin healthy and perfect.
Reply:It can dry your acene that is true
Reply:Well yes and no. While the UV rays are helpful in mild cases of acne it is not good if you have a bad case of it. It could make it worse. I would consult your doctor if it is really bad before tanning.
Reply:yes very true. It will dry up your acne and also conceal it as well.
