no but check online
Reply:No tanning salons are good--they are an even better source for skin cancer than the sun. My niece tanned herself every week and soon after she graduated from college she discovered she had melanoma. The doctor said it was from the tanning salons.

Do you wear a swim suit while you tan in a tanning bed or do you go naked?

That is completely up to you and depends on what areas you wish to tan and whether or not you mind tan lines. I go in my birthday suit because I can't stand tan lines. The staff should clean the sun bed with a hospital grade disinfectant before you use it. I suggest that you apply extra sunscreen the first few times until your usually unexposed areas get used to it or you are likely to burn.

i go **** naked aww an all over tan
Reply:i think u go in with underwear
Reply:Bikini off course! Lol
Reply:I'm not even going to answer that because going to a tanning bed is a horrible idea unless you want to get skin cancer. Take the money you were going to use on a tanning bed and go get a professional spray tan.
Reply:All the places I've ever heard of you go in naked so you get and all over tan, with no tan lines
Reply:If you don't want tan lines, you go "nekked". Otherwise, it's up to you.
Reply:It's all in what you feel comfortable in. Some wear a bikini but they have to deal with tan lines and go go naked also so people wear only ther bikini bottoms so they dont have tan lines on top
Reply:It is a personal choice but I go naked!
Reply:i think that sun bed tanning is awful and is the top reason people get skin cancer so like the other girl said take the money and get a spray tan. but if you dont get give a crap what i say then unless you want a bikini line go naked or at least topless. hope i helped%26lt;33333

What is the best way to get a tan? Without a tanning bed.?

The best way to go if you don't want to use a tanning bed would be to try Jergens all natural glow. It worked wonders for me before my mom would let me start tanning. =]

Sunbathe...?
Reply:If you don't want to expose yourself to UV lights, I suggest you go to a tanning salon and inquire about Air Brush Tanning, where you are literally sprayed with an instant tan that lasts about 5-7 days. If you don't want to spend the money to do this (about $40 depending on your residence), buy Sally Hanson's Spray Tan. It is sold at most Wal-Marts and the results are similar.
Reply:haha!! Well, I've asked this question to myself dozens of times and the reality is-Some of us JUST DONT TAN!!! I burn, turn tomatoe red, then it peels and im white again...

sorry...it's a pain I know!
Reply:Spray on tan. I got one last week an loved it. It only last for about a week but it was worth it.
Reply:go to the beach!!!
Reply:Try sunbathing or just put on some sun tan lotion when you're outside in the summer or at an amusement park. It should help.

Good Luck with the tan!!
Reply:spray tan!
Reply:go sunbathing outside or try lotion self-tanners at your local drugstore

Should I buy a tanning bed, will I save money in the long run?

You might want to price the bulbs first. I heard they are expensive and burn out easy.

There are so many now. I have used Loreal Sublime but the color is not as intense. I was thinking about Bananna Boat, St Ives, or Nivea. Any suggestions??

Medical view on body tanning?

I work for a Dermatologist and she always tries to discourage her patients from tanning of any kind. By tanning, you expose yourself to the risk of getting skin cancer and to premature aging. Although most skin cancers are caused by how much sun exposure you had as a child, as a general rule, tanning is just bad for your skin.

Medical view on body tanning?
it's very bad for you and you should tan as little as possible...
Reply:It's bad for you. Basically tanning darkens your skin by burning it. On the outside, it might look nicer, but microscopically, you can see the burn marks. This increases your chances of getting cancer and wrinkles. Use an artificial tanning lotion, if you want to get a tan.
Reply:Ages your skin, and can lead to age spots when your older, and can also give you that leathery look. Skin cancer is becoming more common now. Now days fake tans are all the rage, and they don't give you that orange look if you choose the right one. Another plus is that fake tans won't damage your skin.

OMG! I am going through the same thing as you! I go tanning now and all of a suddon.. i itch like hell! i put lotion (moisturizer) on .. it helps for a little bit but t comez back after a while. Try some aloe! I gotta go out and buy some in a min.

Hope I Kinda Helped?
Reply:No this is not normal. Are you on any medications that make you light sensitive? If you are on med's check with your pharmacy to see if they can make you sunlight sensitive because that what it sounds like. If you are not on any med's then you might be allergic to the cleaning solution they use to clean the beds.
Reply:your itching is not heat rash,it is from going to long in the tanning bed, start tanning at a slower pace, meaning less minutes and then gradually go longer,i have also found if you use a bed that has the bronzing bulbs that block out the uva rays this will not happen then you can go more minutes.
