I think my German teacher may be full of crap. He says Germans hardly ever get drunk. CRAP!

germans love their beer and drink it to every occasion or have 1-2 after they get home from work, that doesnt mean they get drunk though! and if they do, the guy above is right they dont get as violent as some americans do..(you see that every weekend when the american soldiers dont know how to act right after a few german beer) but thats not the question...everybody knows that extreme visits to the tanning bed is bad for your health and can cause cancer! but germans go tanning also so no your teacher is wrong!!!

Reply:I don't know about the tanning beds, but German's will mix Coke in their beer... it comes in Really big glasses and to drink the entire thing, they would get drunk. They can also drink on lunch breaks at work, even Air Traffic Controllers! Think about that the next time you fly to Germany!

Reply:I went to visit a German school for a day and the teacher was absent for one subject. The students walked to the bar, had a few beers, then walked back to their next classes. I had to go along, of course, to get the full cultural experience.
