Yes you can but please be careful. If it is very new you can aggrivate the skin around the piercing which could lead to infection. The sugestion of a towel is good, but some rays will still get through. A sticker (believe it or not) directly over the area will help more but will leave an untanned area for the first day or so. Once you are past your 14 days, you are less likely to have problems. If it gets too irritated, dont tan for a while.
How can i go tanning with a new lip piercing in?
Put a towel over your head.

Reply:Put a small band-aid over the piercing if it makes you nervous; or wait until the piercing heals. I have never heard of a danger from tanning with a new piercing. There is always that spray tan stuff too.

Reply:Congrats on the piercing! I love lip piercings. Anyways, if you must go tanning just put a towel/shirt over it like everyone else says. I wouldn't use a band aid because it's gonna hurt like h3ll when you take the band aid off. Can't you wait until it heals and not go tanning for a bit...?
