Some guys say they want to look good. My mom's convinced that they just don't want to burn. Any answers or thoughts would be very, very helpful.
Why do guys go tanning? Is it just to look good, or is it something more than that?
I would think it's the same reason females go tanning -- to look tan. :D
Reply:MY HUSBAND LAYS IN THE TANNING BED CAUSE HE HAS ALOT OF BACK PROBLEMS AN THE HEAT HELPS! IT WORKS BETTER THAN A HEATING PAD!

Reply:Well tan colour appears good in the sense that one can wear dresse which are dull as well as bright colours.Apart from this it is healthy to go tanning(some fat gets converted to vitamin D which is good for bones) as some sun light is good for a healthy skin.By the way i never had to go for tanning because im already tan brown.
And yeah...i have seen ladies going for tanning a lot than guys!
Reply:I dont go to tanning beds but I do lay out in the sun when I have time. I like the look - evens out the farmers tan thing.
